Despite adversities, Sneh-Prayas
could succeed to gain strong support of local people
of Kutch region and slums of Ahmedabad. In fact, we
could achieve it because of a strategy for sustainable
intervention. Our prime objective was to address people's
primary needs first so that people should get attached
with the program. Our participatory implementation process
helped us in extending our outreach from one village
to 36 villages of Bhachau taluka(half of the Taluka)
of Kutch district and slums of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
The target groups of our program are most affected vulnerable
children, women, disables, uncared old age people and
other vulnerable survivors of earthquake. |
