STRUCTURE |
A team of professionals and volunteers does the management and
functions of Sneh-Prayas. The team is responsible for program implementation, administration and finance management. There
are two committees, which supervise as well as support the executive
team, known as "Steering Committee"(SC) and "Project
Level Committee"(PLC). Under such organizational structure,
Sneh-Prayas work on the "Participatory Management Approach"
in coordination with its national Head office (N.Delhi). The Governing
Body of Prayas is the apex body of the organization at national
level.

The Steering Committee is a state level committee, which helps
Sneh-Prayas to formulate vision, mission and strategy with local
and long term perspective. This committee meets quarterly in a year.
Very experienced and achievers of different fields like Govt. sector,
voluntary sector, corporate sector, education and health sector
are members of this committee. The chairman of the PLC and the leader
of executive team are also the members of this committee.

Level Committee (PLC) |
This committee has been made to help the executive team at fields
level. The local Govt. officials from various departments, local
doctors, Sarpanchs, Talatis as well as some local proactive villagers
are members of this committee. In PLC meeting, which is held
at field area, implementing team presents monthly progress report
and action plan for the coming month is made with PLC confirmation.
Obviously, this process makes the executive team accountable to the
community on one hand and on the other it improves communities'
attachment with the program. Apart from administrative supervision,
PLC plays very important role by helping team in working with local
perspectives and needs.
