Through
sponsorship, children receive education, health,
nutrition, vocation and life-skills. In addition,
children receive uniforms and recreational
facilities.
Under extended sponsorship, sponsored
children get encouragement to pursue higher academic studies,
vocational training programmes or professional courses. More
than 1000 children have been benefited through this programme. |
How a child benefits? |
- Sponsored children are provided with everything they need
- from textbooks to shoes - to enable them to complete their
education.
- They are mainstreamed into formal schools.
- They are also given vocational training to enable them
to stand on their feet.
- Apart from basic medical care, they are provided with
supplementary nutritious diet.
- Professional social workers monitor their progress and
also advise and counsel them from time to time
